Open Concept Kitchen: Interior Design Project

Residential Kitchen | Naples, Florida

Sometimes the best interior designs start with what’s already there. For this kitchen, the travertine floors set the tone, and we built a whole new story around them.

I wanted the kitchen island to feel sculptural and grounded, so we went with a waterfall edge that keeps the lines clean while hiding push-to-open power outlets right on the countertop (because function has to meet form in all kitchen redesigns).

Instead of tile, the countertop continues up the wall for a seamless backsplash moment that feels fresh and timeless. The final layer? GE Monogram smart appliances with an induction cooktop: high tech meets luxury design.

Now, this kitchen feels calm, connected, and effortlessly modern — the perfect Naples refresh!
